The Forma House Project

Kuwento (Brand Story)

There was a season when Clara was running on empty. Work asked for more than it gave back. She chased deadlines until the chasing was all that was left. Burnout eventually forced her to take a pause, and that pause forced a question: what was worth pursuing at all?

Then she found Pilates. It became her reset. A way to slow down, reconnect with herself, and enjoy movement again. What started as something she loved turned into something she wanted to share.

“I'm taking a leap of faith by opening my own Pilates studio. It's more than just a business to me. It's a place built with heart, where I hope others can experience the same strength, balance, and peace that Pilates has given me.”

— Clara Benito, Founder

And so Forma House began. Forma is Latin for form, shape, and structure. But Forma House Pilates is less about how a body looks and more about the shape a person grows into: stronger, healthier, and more sure of themselves. House was added for two reasons. First, the studio is her family’s old two-storey home, rebuilt for movement. Second, a house is where nobody performs. After all, nobody is measured at the door. It is as welcoming to a first-timer as it is to someone who's been doing Pilates for ten years. It’s a safe space to be new at something, to rest when rest is what the body asks for, and a room to return to whenever a reset is needed.

At Forma House, everyone comes as they are, and leaves a little closer to their best form.

The Challenge

Rodriguez, Rizal has more residents than any other municipality in the Philippines, yet it didn't have a single Pilates studio. Anyone who wanted a class had to head out of town, while new studios kept opening in nearly every neighboring area.

Being first is an advantage, but it also meant starting from zero. Clara had no social pages, no website, and no set rates yet, just her family's old house slowly being rebuilt into a two-storey studio. She was also up against a stubborn idea: that Pilates is too expensive to keep up with and too hard to fit into a packed week.

So Forma House needed a brand that could hold two things at once. It had to feel calm and considered enough to earn the trust of people trying Pilates for the first time, and warm and affordable enough that a tired professional could walk in after work and feel at home. If it worked, Pilates in Rodriguez wouldn't mean a long drive anymore. It would mean a familiar house just around the corner. And so our process begins…

When I first reached out to Kuwento, I honestly had no clear idea of how I wanted my branding to look or feel. As a new business owner, I was still figuring things out and trying to understand how i wanted my brand to be presented.

I simply shared my story with Liz, on what my business was about, why I started it, and how I envisioned it growing. She took my story and turned it into a brand that was even better than I could have imagined. She understood what I wanted, even when I couldn't fully put it into words myself.

As someone getting started with a new business, having Kuwento guide me through the branding process was incredibly helpful. They made something that initially felt overwhelming and unfamiliar feel clear, intentional and achievable.

Liz truly lived up to Kuwento's mission and vision of helping business owners build world-class brands and strategies yet affordable , especially for small and new business owners like me. Kuwento didn't just create a beautiful brand for me, but also helped me understand the value of building a strong brand form the very beginning.

I'm so grateful I trusted Kuwento with my business. What started with me not knowing exactly what I wanted turned into a brand that feels authentically me and represents the story behind my business. Highly recommended!
