About
Kuwento (Brand Story)
KUSOG, inspired by lambanog (Filipino coconut vodka), is a high-strength cocktail brand packaged in ready-to-drink cans. This experimental brand sought to modernize perceptions of the strong Pinoy drink while appealing to a younger, more design-conscious market.
Why Design This?
KUSOG was designed to challenge outdated ideas about lambanog, reimagining it as a bold, modern cocktail for a new generation. It channels the ExplorerβWarrior vibe archetype β confident, daring, and unapologetically Filipino.
Through strong visual identity and ready-to-drink convenience, my goal was to modernize the iconic Filipino drink to prove that local liquor can feel bold, modern, and premium without losing their cultural roots.
π€ Flavors
π€ Flavors
TALIM (Kinetic Java Plum) - from the Tagalog for "sharp," it tastes like your 'ol favorite salt-shaken duhat with a sharp finish
SUGBA (Spiced Mango & Chili) - came from the Bisaya word for "roast," combines sun-ripened mangoes with the slow burn of Siling Labuyo
ALAB (Barako & Salted Caramel) - from the Tagalog for "flame," ALAB is a bold, addicting flavor of smoked sugar combined with Barako cold brew
KALAMI (Electric Calamansi) - from the words kalamansi + "lami" (Bisaya word for delicious), for a friendly, soda-like tart flavor
SIKLAB (Hibiscus & Pink Pomelo) - from the Tagalog word for "spark," SIKLAB tastes floral but with a strong aftertaste
