About

Kuwento (Brand Story)

By 2026, Christine Enerlan had spent the last five years becoming a mother of two, a caregiver to her parents with incurable illnesses, and a leader managing a multinational team, all at once, and seemingly in the blink of an eye. Everything felt overwhelming, as if the whole world had settled on her shoulders, ready to collapse at any given moment. Until she found her way to journaling. Slowly and steadily, it became the practice that kept her grounded, a steady anchor in the middle of so much noise, giving her room to breathe after every session.

But most journaling products made the practice harder. Accessories were expensive, and social media had built a growing culture of pressure to journal perfectly, aesthetically, and consistently. It was overconsumption dressed up as self-care.

And so Liham Lane was born. Built on the belief that journaling should be gentle, intentional, and within reach of anyone who needs it, it is the brand she needed when she needed it most. The name is deliberate: Liham means letter in Filipino, the original form of unhurried, honest communication. Liham Lane extends that to everyone who has ever wanted to write but was not sure where to start.

The Challenge

Journaling isn't new. But somewhere along the way, social media turned it into a performance — heavily curated spreads, matching accessories, and an unspoken pressure to do it perfectly or not at all.

Liham Lane needed to change that mindset, reviving the original intention of journaling: honest, unhurried self-reflection regardless of the season you’re in.

For this brand, we needed to make it clear that Liham Lane was built to answer a simpler, more significant question: what would you write if you didn’t have to think about perfection? And so our process begins…
